Costco Wouldn't Allow Food Stamp Recipeint to Buy Food For Her Children

In a short little post, I wanted to say Shame! Shame! Shame! This shameful finger shake goes into the face of Costco for not allowing a woman to buy food with her Massachusettes SNAP Benefits card, because the card shows her husband's photo instead of hers.

In the state of Massachusettes, EBT cards are embossed with recipeints photos.  This is a costly nonsense that serves no real purpose  - it's just stupid and they need to fix it.  Still, all in all, Costco denied the woman access to food for her children because the photo on the card was that of her husband... That's jacked up Costco...

Expedited food stamps (SNAP benefits) is the name of a process where low income families are given food stamps within 7 days from the date of their application. Eligibility rules include the following: Your household’s income is less than $150 per month and your household’s assets are less than $100 (assets include cash that you have on hand and the money in your bank account).
