C4Yourself is a website where you can apply for California food stamps (SNAP Benefits), Cash Assistance, and Medi-Cal. You can also check your food stamp and cash account balances as well.

In order to use the site, you will need to register, and although most California counties participate in the program, there are still quite a few counties that have a different public assistance application process.

The following counties DO NOT participate in the C4Yourself program (Since most counties in California participate, it is much easier to list those that do not):

According to the C4Yourself Web Site, it is much easier to apply for and access benefit information on their site than traditional government administered sites.

How to Get Expedited Food Stamps

Expedited food stamps (SNAP benefits) is the name of a process where low income families are given food stamps within 7 days from the date of their application. Eligibility rules include the following: Your household’s income is less than $150 per month and your household’s assets are less than $100 (assets include cash that you have on hand and the money in your bank account). Your rent and utilities are more than your monthly income before deductions OR You are a migrant seasonal farm worker and your household’s cash and money in the bank is less than $100. If none of these situations apply, you may receive Food Stamps within 30 days of the date you apply for government aid.
