Children and the Elderly Will Face Starvation Under Trump's Budget
Under Donald Trump's new budget plan, if you don't work you don't eat. The budget resolution was passed by the House in October. It seems fair enough on the surface, but once you dig a little deeper you'll see how disgusting Trump aims to push millions of people off food stamps. Most of these folks are already struggling to make ends meet, and the worst part is the fact that this low blow from President Trump will affect the neediest Americans, children, the sick and the elderly. The new $4.1 trillion budget aims to pull $150 billion away from poverty programs, largely the SNAP Program (food stamps). Many of the people affected will be Trump's own constituents, people who voted for him, trusting his promise to "Make America Great Again."
